mercredi déjà!

More than half way through the week already. We are seeing ,learning, experiencing so much!
Yesterday morning we spentime discussing story telling and sharing /practising techniques for using and exploiting authentic texts with pupils.

In the afternoon we had a really interesting guided tour of the old town, with an engaging  French guide telling us all about the history of the area and pointing out many fascinating facts about the buildings. She spoke very clearly and it was good for our language skills as we used our best language leanrning strategies to help each other understand the tour!
See below for video clips. (Apologies for the drilling in the first one!)

Today we have been learning from each other as we shared activities with the group. It has been great to share and to look at so many different approaches and we have all come away with new ideas we can use with our pupils when we return.

PS:
(Albert is a little fed up as he has yet to be taken into one of the fabulous 'pâtisseries' that we have seen around the town. He's hoping for a visit before the weekend!)

J'en ai marre!

Alison
